🎙️ What Does It Mean to Come Together?

A TY-CO conversation initiated by ABR, in collaboration with Netcast Zone’s Good Girls podcast, shared here with English subtitles.

Antama means "together" in Cypriot Greek. Antama Festival brings people closer to the island's roots and traditions, in a gathering of music, people and shared energy in Nicosia. In this episode of the Good Girls podcast, Andrea Nikolaou and George Miltiadous talk about the festival.

We are sharing it as part of TY-CO (Typologies of Community), our European project on how festivals and cultural communities form and last. The original conversation is in Greek; this version has English subtitles.

What the conversation covers

How an idea shared by three people grew into a festival, and then into a whole community built around celebrating and dancing together.
Traditional arts at risk of disappearing, the people keeping them alive, and what it feels like to join a circle of strangers and, for a moment, go from “me” to “we”.
